A shelf needs one object that is purely there to be looked at. The Space Bear is that object — a seated bear figure with a mirror-bright metallic finish that picks up the colour of whatever is around it.
At just under 11 inches it has enough presence to anchor a console or a bookshelf without crowding it. The electroplated surface behaves like polished metal, reflecting the room rather than sitting flat against it, and a cushion on the base keeps it from marking the surface underneath.

Treat it as you would any decorative figure: the mirror finish marks if it is rubbed, and the piece is not made to survive a fall.
