Pieces that hold a room together

HomyPoint is a small shop for lighting and objects for the home, run from Göteborg, Sweden.

We look for the things a room is missing rather than the ones it can do without — a lamp with the right weight of light, a clock you notice because of how it is made, a dish that gives small objects somewhere to live. Everything is chosen for how it behaves in a real home: how it looks on the first morning, and whether it still holds up a year later.

Why mostly light

Light changes a room more than anything else you can buy for the same money. We look for pieces that dim and give more than one colour of light, because a room needs different light at breakfast and at midnight. Shapes are kept simple — the object should read as an object when it is switched off, not only when it is lit.

Where things come from

Not everything ships from the same place. Depending on the item, parcels leave from the United States, Europe, China or Australia — from where the piece is made. That keeps the price close to what the piece costs instead of what a showroom needs to charge. It also means delivery takes longer than a warehouse down the road: usually 7–15 business days, shipping included, anywhere in the world.

You have 30 days to return anything, and the return label is on us. Write to info@homypoint.com and a person will answer — before you order and after.
